Speak Against Demolishing the 706 E. Monroe Bungalow

The Historic Landmark Commission will hear the case Wednesday Nov. 4, 6 p.m. at the City Council Chambers, 301 W. 2nd Street.

The house has retained excellent integrity and is a Contributing Structure with our National Register Historic District. Its visibility at the entrance to Little Stacy Park has endeared it to many within the neighborhood. In addition, the unique carport designed by University of Texas School of Architecture Professor Bob Mather, is another notable feature.

To leave comments by email, please send before noon on Tuesday, Nov. 4, to preservation@austintexas.gov.
